From today, reservations can be made to participate in the lunch at the I Festa do Botelo do Barco in Madrid, which will take place on March 9 at the Casa de Galicia. For this first edition of the party in the capital of Spain there are 100 seats, and the price of the menu is 55 euros.

Each person can reserve a maximum of 5 places. Interested parties must call, to make the reservation, to telephone 988320202, Extension 2131, and will have to make the deposit into a bank account, which will be communicated to them, to consider the place reserved. The menu will be composed of botelo soup, and botelo with chorizos, turnip greens, chickpeas and cachelos. For dessert, attendees will taste pancakes with honey and fried milk. The meal will be accompanied by wines and liquors from the DO Valdeorras.

The day before, a meeting will be held with journalists specialized in gastronomy and restaurateurs from Madrid. At this meeting on Friday the 8th, a wine tunnel directed by winemaker Luis Paadín will be held, in collaboration with the Valdeorras DO, in which a pairing will be made between DO Valdeorras wines and dishes made with Botello.
