The XVII Festa do Botelo do Barco, declared of Galician tourist interest, is raising a lot of expectations. Visitors and neighbors are calling restaurants to reserve the botelo menu and thus be able to taste this particular Valdeorré sausage. Six restaurants offer the possibility of tasting it this weekend on their menus and some of them are already fully booked.

The 6 restaurants are: Casa Galaica, Piquiño, Fernando III, Agarimo, Pulpería El Dorado and Il Piacere Gastrobar.

Menus with a bottle range from 15 to 25 euros in these establishments and there are still places available to reserve. One of the functions of this festival, as explained by the Councilor for Culture, Margarida Pizcueta, is to promote the consumption of this sausage in restaurants and for the festival to spread throughout all parts of the town on Botelo day.
