The Festa do Botelo do Barco is celebrated on February 3 in Coruña, on March 2 in Vigo and on March 9 in Madrid

The botelo do Barco will arrive this year at the Galician Center and the Casa de Galicia in Madrid, where on March 8 and 9 a series of activities will be held with the aim of introducing this excellent gastronomic product in the capital of Spain. This is a first step to achieve the declaration of “Festival of National Tourist Interest”, for this celebration, which has reached its XXII edition in O Barco. The other two already consolidated Botelo parties (Coruña and Vigo) will take place on February 3 at the Finisterre hotel in Coruña, and on March 2 at the Coia hotel in Vigo.

Notwithstanding the events planned for Madrid, on Friday the 8th an event will take place at the Galician Center to disseminate the botelo among restaurant professionals and specialized journalists. In this event, a wine tunnel will take place, with wines from the Valdeorras designation of origin, and a tasting of different dishes made with Botello. On Saturday the 9th, the popular lunch will take place at the Casa de Galicia, which will have a capacity of between 110 and 120 people, which is considered sufficient for the first date in the Madrid capital.
