This year, the seventh edition of the Festa do Botelo in Vigo will not be possible to celebrate due to the restrictions that are being experienced due to Covid-19. As it had become tradition on the first Saturday of the month of March, the round of exaltation of the bottle closed in the olive city. At the Hotel Coia, the attendees tasted this sausage king of Valdeorrés winter and eagerly awaited the arrival of the next party.

Este sería o último acto promocional do botelo desta tempada fora das terras valdeorresas. O Concello do Barco agarda poder celebrar, en canto sexa posible, esta festa e seguir exaltando o botelo por diferentes lugares da xeografía galega. A Festa do Botelo foi declarada Festa de Interese Turístico de Galicia no ano 2004 e este será o primeiro ano que non se celebra actividade festeira pública pero continuase mantendo viva a tradición co seu consumo nos fogares de Valdeorras.
