The VIII of Botelo do Barco in A Coruña, on Saturday February 11 at Hotel Finisterre
Lunch will be preceded by a Wine Tunnel organized in collaboration with the Valdeorras Wine Route
The reservation period is now open to take part in the food of the VIII edition of the Festa do Botelo do Barco in A Coruña, which will be held on Saturday 11 February at the Hotel Finisterre in this city, organized in collaboration with the Barco Council. In this edition, in addition to the food, with the bottle as the protagonist, a Wine Tunnel is held led by the renowned winemaker Luis Paadín, in whose celebration the Ruta do Viño de Valdeorras collaborates.
The food menu consists of maravallas empanada and cocido soup, as starters, to be followed by the main course, consisting of botelo, chorizos, cachelos and cabbage. For dessert, kiss. Everything, served with Godello and Mencía wines from Valdeorras, and finished with coffee and a selection of Valdeorras liqueurs.
The activities will begin at 1:00 p.m., with the delivery of accreditations and the start of the Wine Tunnel, in which references to wines from the more than 15 wineries that make up the Valdeorras Wine Route will be presented, under the advice of two expert sommeliers. Entrance to the dining room will begin at 2:00 p.m., so that lunch will be served from 2:30 p.m. From 16.45 there will be live music in the restaurant itself.
The price established for this edition of the Botelo do Barco Festival in A Coruña is 44 euros per person, and places are limited to a maximum of 200 diners, who must reserve their place before February 8.
