300 people enjoyed botelo at the VIII Botelo Festival in the village of Barco in A Coruña

In this edition of the Festival, which took place at the Hotel Finisterre, a little over 300 people participated, who tasted a menu composed of maravallas empanada, cocido soup, botelo with potatoes and cabbage and bica. Wines from Valdeorras, both Godello and Mencía, accompanied the menu.

The Councilor for Culture, Margarida Pizcueta, attended the party on behalf of the Barco Council, accompanied by the managers of the Valdeorras Wine Route Association, Joaquín Sánchez and Araceli Fernández, who organized the Wine Tunnel, in which, directed by winemaker Luis Paadín , more than 40 references of Valdeorras wines were presented. The meal ended with a live performance by the group “José Brea”, who enlivened the afternoon with their music.

Before the meal of the VIII Festa do Botelo in the village of Barco in A Coruña, a Wine Tunnel was held, in which the specialists Luis and Alejandro Paadín presented more than 40 wines from 17 wineries that are members of the Valdeorras Wine Route Association.
