This year the XVI Festa do Botelo will have one more complementary activity with the launch of the I Foliada and Cantos de Taberna in which 7 musical groups will participate. The party will begin on Saturday the 23rd, once the botelo announcement has been read, with a procession, around 1:30 p.m., from the Lauro Olmo Theater to the place where the botelo meal will be held in the Calabagueiros pavilion. Then the groups will liven up the food and in the afternoon they will continue with the troula in 12 bars in the town. The performances will end in Praza Maior do Barco around 10pm. This year the music of these groups will be between Casco Vello and the section of the Paseo do Malecón closest to this area of town.
